There are mainly two categories i.e. Free and Private patients, under which our experienced doctors can examine a person. All patients go through the reception area where patient computerized registration cards are made for the appropriate category. These cards are used to keep computerized medical information about the patient’s in order to provide better assistance to them in their subsequent visits.
During morning time (0800 – 1300 hours) no Appointments are necessary for Free categorie. However private patients can get appointment for the evening.
Anyone who is unable to afford can receive eye care treatment at absolutely no cost. After a simple registration process, patients become eligible for all necessary examinations, procedures, and treatments free of charge.
Presently Private patients are seen in the evening only. (Monday – Friday). Patients need to contact (051) 5487821-5 Ext. 263 or can make online appointment by clicking (Online Appointments) or through Patient Appointment Mobile App. Appointments are made for RAWALPINDI Hospital and our Satellite Clinic at ISLAMABAD. Fee charged from private patients is wholly used to provide subsidy to poor/deserving patients being treated at Al-Shifa.
